Holiday in Croatia
Hello everyone!
I have been completely out of the real world for a few weeks, when i left for the holidays! And actually, it has been great, not knowing and not caring about any wolrd news.. Me and Elisa went on a tour of Croatian coast, and came back just yesterday :)

Sono stata fuori dal mondo reale per qualche settimana gia', quando sono partita per le vacanze. E posso dirvi che era bellissimo, non sapendo e non volendo sapere delle novita' nel mondo...Io ed Elisa siamo andate a fare il giro per la costa croata, e siamo tornate giusto ieri :)

lo spettacolo è emozione e sentimento, dall'inizio alla fine, per questo sono considerati uno dei migliore e la mia band preferita.

Dolce & Gabbana party
As you all might know, this week is Men Fashion Week in Milan, so there a lot of events and parties all around...One of them was Dolce&Gabbana party on Saturday, which they organized with their star model David Gandy...We also went to the party, with open bar full of Milanese elite. Here are some photos taken with Blackberry...Enjoy!
Siccome lo sapete gia', questa settimana e' la settimana della moda Uomo a Milano, e ci sono tantissimi eventi e feste di moda in giro...Una di queste era la festa di Dolce&Gabbana sabato, che hanno organizzato con loro modello principale David Gandy...Anche noi siamo andate all'evento, con bar aperto, e pieno della elita milanese. Queste sono alcune delle foto fatte con Blackberry...Godetevele!

Sunday was also full of events...First we went to Cavalli Club for a magazine event Love Sex Dance. Then we dropped by a Brazilian bar for a couple of drinks, and then Plastic Club! Plastic was amazing, full of people interesting and fun music, models everywhere.. We've met a lot of people and had the most fun evening! No pictures this time hahaha...:D
Domenica e' anche stata piena di eventi...Prima siamo andate al Cavalli Club per l'evento di Love Sex Dance magazine, dopo di che abbiamo fatto un salto al bar brasiliano per qualche drink. Il massimo della sera e' stato Plastic, che era fantastico, pieno di gente, musica divertente e interessante, modelli dappertutto. Abbiamo conosciuto tanta gente e ci siamo divertite un sacco...Questa volta senza le foto pero' hahahaha :D

Summer chic
These past ' summer ' days in Milan have been pretty unpredictable with the weather, however i managed to choose an outfit that is both light & summerly, as well perfect for windy and rainy moments :)
Questi ultimi giorni 'estivi' a Milano sono stati abbastanza imprevedibili riguardando il tempo. Comunque sono riuscita a scegliere l'outfit leggero e nello stesso tempo perfetto per i momenti di pioggia e vento :)

The MODS!
A few weeks ago I was looking for an inspiration for my final exams collection, and I came across this interesting subculture - THE MODS - that originated in London in the late 1950s and peaked in the mid 1960s.
Elements of the mod subculture, as said in the video, include fashion ( often tailor-made suits ), music - the most significant bands being the Kinks, the Who, Small Faces; and motor scooters.
The original mod-scene was also associated with the use of amphetamines that fuelled all-night dancing at clubs.
A mod revival started in the late 1970s in the UK, that was partly inspired by the 1979 film Quadrophenia and by mod influenced bands such as The Jam and the Secret Affair.
The 1990s Britpop scene featured noticeable mod influences on bands such as Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene and The Verve.
Il mod revival e' iniziato nei tardi 1970 in Gran Bretagna, che è stato in parte ispirato dal film Quadrophenia del 1979 e influenzato dalle band mod come The Jam and The Secret Affair.

Qualche settimana mentre stavo cercando l'ispirazione per la mia collezione per esami finali, ho trovato questa sottocultura interessante e divertente - THE MODS -che ha avuto origine a Londra alla fine dei anni '50 e ha raggiunto il picco a metà dei 1960.
