80's style

The other night I saw 80's movie American gigolo with Richard Gere. I absolutely loved it, and thought it perfectly represents the aestetics of the 80's. The cult of body was in focus- everybody, men, women, thought it was essential to have a sculptured body, it was the golden age of the gyms.
So in the end, all this is evident in American Gigolo. Gere is so perfect that he only has to exit the house in his Armani suit and the women fall for him...absolutely gorgeus! I strongly reccomend it :D

L'altra sera ho visto American Gigolo degli anni 80 con Richard Gere. L'ho assolutamente amato, e penso che rappresenta perfettamente la estetica degli anni 80. Il cult del corpo era importantissimo- tutti, sia uomini che donne pensavano che era essenziale avere un corpo ben definito, era la era d'oro delle palestre.
Allora, alla fine, tutto questo e' evidente in American Gigolo. Gere e' cosi' perfetto che deve solo uscire dalla casa in suo abito di Armani e le donne s'innamorano...assolutamente divino! Lo raccomanto fortemente a tutti :D

New ankle boots!

Just like Nancy Sinatra sings : 'These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do'. Really they are! Such comfortable yet still high and sophisticated boots I've never had. And I love their rough touch they add to every outfit.

Burberry spring/summer 2012

I love how Christopher Bailey successfully rebuilt the cult British brand! And I absolutely adore the colourful mosaic on the sweatshirts and upper parts of raincoats that he already showed during Men Fashion Week in June. Colours, materials, shapes...everything looks highly sophisticated, chic and above all - British!

Amo come Christopher Bailey ha rinnovato la brand inglese con tanto successo! Assolutamente adoro il mosaico colorato sulle magliette e sulle parti superiori dei cappotti, che aveva gia' sfilato durante la Fashion Week Uomo  in giugno. I colori, i materiali, le forme...tutto e' molto soffisticato, chic e sopratutto - inglese!
